Output rights, by engine

What we can honestly promise about the files you generate — and what we cannot. Every answer below rests on an upstream licence we retrieved and read in full on 1 August 2026.

The short version. You may use what you generate commercially on every paid plan. We do not claim that you own the file, and we do not claim it is exclusively yours — because no one in the chain grants either. Our providers license us to run their models, grant ownership only of the input you supply, and expressly decline to warrant that an output is original, non-infringing, or even copyrightable.

Why we changed this page

Until 1 August 2026 this site said “full commercial license” and “yours to sell” in 221 places. We read the four upstream licences end to end and could not find a grant behind those words, so we removed them. Commercial use we can support. Ownership and exclusive resale we cannot, and we would rather say so than print it on a pricing page.

Things worth knowing

Outputs may not be unique. fal warns that the same or a similar output can be produced for another user. Do not sell an output as an exclusive asset.
No originality warranty. No provider warrants that an output is original or does not infringe. That risk sits with whoever publishes the model.
Copyright may not exist at all. In many jurisdictions a purely AI-generated file may attract no copyright. Deemos says as much when it declines to take a position on copyrightability.
We do not expose provider APIs to you. All generation is proxied server-side, which is both a licence requirement and the reason your prompts and images never carry our provider keys.
