HIBR generates a UAE-compliant tax invoice (Federal Decree-Law 8/2017) for every Shopify order, with the TRN, place of supply, and correct VAT treatment. The Shopify-side checkout collects VAT at 5%, HIBR books the output VAT to the right ledger, and the quarterly VAT 201 includes Shopify revenue automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Will I lose any Shopify apps when I switch to HIBR ERP?

No. HIBR replaces accounting and inventory back-office tools (other UAE accounting tools, Stocky, DEAR, etc.). Your conversion and marketing apps (Klaviyo, ReCharge, Loox, Yotpo, Privy) all keep running on Shopify because they sit on the storefront layer, not the back office.

Does HIBR support Shopify Markets (multi-currency / multi-region)?

Yes. Multi-currency Shopify Markets revenue flows into HIBR with the correct FX handling. UAE-resident merchants typically run UAE-market + GCC-market + International-market splits, and HIBR books each correctly under FTA's place-of-supply rules.

What about Shopify Payments versus a UAE gateway?

Shopify Payments isn't yet available to UAE-resident merchants in the same way it is in the US/EU. Most UAE Shopify stores use Telr, Network International, or PayTabs via the standard Shopify gateway integration. HIBR reconciles whichever gateway you use.
